Originally establish in 1929, Clyde Douglas Snape was based in Cronulla NSW and founded CD Snapes Furniture Removals. Back when Hungry Boards, Dogs, Split Rims, Sheep Shanks, Clove Hitches and Crash boxes were all every day tools of the trade in transport, CD Snapes was tirelessly traversing the countryside of NSW.
Over the many years since, there has been a number of ownership changes that has seen the business evolve and adapt though both good times and some bad.
Today Snapes Australia still operates under the same core values that has kept it alive for all these years and has evolved into a strong consortium of partners that operates though out Australia, providing a national warehousing and logistical solution that Clyde would have been proud off.
